The context

Independent Amway distributors in the Dominican Republic sell personal care and health products, but usually operate without a platform of their own — relying on PDF catalogs, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets to track orders and customers.

The challenge

Build a real online store (not just a static catalog) that also worked as a sales management system: one where the distributor could manage products, view orders, and have a panel separate from the public site their customers see.

The solution

A full-stack platform with a React 19 frontend (Vite, Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion, React Router) and a Node.js/Express backend, Mongoose over MongoDB Atlas, and JWT authentication with passwords hashed via bcryptjs — the standard technical foundation for an admin panel that handles customer and sales data securely.

Key features

Meta Business Suite infrastructure

The project also included the technical preparation of VitaGloss RD's advertising ecosystem. The goal was to prevent the brand from relying on disconnected assets when launching campaigns across Facebook and Instagram.

This work documents the infrastructure setup and does not claim campaign sales or performance. The delivery left the assets connected and ready to measure and optimize future advertising.
